Video editor that captures AVI digital video and lets you divide it into pieces automatically.

AVCutty is a tool that can capture video material from a digital camera. The program records the video in AVI files, and simplifies the dividsion of those AVI into smaller scenes or pieces as you need. The process is automatic: AVCutty scans the AVI files and automatically detects scene changes optically or marking the digital date. Each new fragment is saved in another separate AVI file, and in the process you don`t lose quality as the new AVIs aren`t compressed.
